      Born on April 1, 1903, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of Mrs. Minnie Baker Forney, of 308 S. Main St., and the late Ira J. Forney.
      She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher in the primary department for approximately 30 years.
      Surviving in addition to her mother and her husband, is a daughter, Miss Virginia Kaye Smith, at home
