SLOAN157,158, daughter of SAMUEL SLOAN and MARY HENDERSON. She was born Abt. 1856 in Ohio. Notes for AMANDA H. SLOAN: (from Patricia Sloan of Chattaroy, WA) "My great great Grandfather was William Sloan of Belmont co., Ohio (son of Samuel Sloan and Mary Jane Henderson). He had a sister Amanda who I am trying to trace. Ages ago I found an IGI entry for a marriage of an Amanda Sloan and Wilmer Skeeles but have never been able to confirm if this was indeed my Amanda. I find Wilmer and Amanda [SKULL] in the 1880 census living next door to Samuel Moore Sloan, brother to William and Amanda so I am guessing this is my Amanda.
