Frank Smith Birth: Aug. 10, 1897 Upper Strasburg Franklin County Pennsylvania, USA Death: May 26, 1975 Illinois, USA Mrs. Mary L. Frank Smith, 77, 3712 W. Wrightwood Ave., Chicago, Ill., died at 5:35 p.m. Monday in the Central Nursing Home, Chicago, Ill. She was born Aug. 10, 1897, in Upper Strasburg, a daughter of the late Peter and Frances Morrow Frank. She graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1916. During the 1930's, Mrs. Smith was employed as a housemother at Scotland School for Veteran's Children. She was an employee of the government in Washington, D.C. for 15 years. Mrs. Smith was the widow of John F. Smith, who preceded her in death June 27, 1932. She is survived by her son, Ray F. Smith, with whom she resided since 1957; (possible living survivors omitted) Burial will be Friday in Norland Cemetery.
