She was born in Salida Colorado to Opal and Edgar Disert. She grew up and went to school in Salida before she and her family moved to Colorado Springs where she went to Beautician's College. It was in Colorado Springs that she met Joseph Howard at Colorado College, where he was in officer's training for the US Marine Corps. They married (INFORMATION OMITTED) and moved to Guide Rock Nebraska for 2 years before returning to Colorado. Mr. Howard opened his own plumbing shop and later went into real estate in the early 1970s. In 1984 they moved to Louisville Colorado where they both liked the friendly people and Joe went to work with the Colorado Tech Center. (SURVIVORS OMITTED.) Bunny is remembered by all as a wonderful friend, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and friends. She asks that you remember her with smiles. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at 2:00pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary 6601 So Colo Blvd in Centennial with burial following.
