      Richard P. Pentz, 71, died Nov. 18, 1993. He was a native of Greencastle, Pa., and had been a resident of Fort Pierce and Baltimore, Md.
      Mr. Pentz was a teacher. He received his bachelor of science degree at Ryder College, NJ and a master's degree at the University of Georgia. He taught history for two years in Athens, Ga.; 10 years at Brooklyn Park High School, Baltimore, Md.; and 10 years as associate professor of psychology at what was then Indian River Junior College, Fort Pierce. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Mr. Pentz also was a member of the Church of the Apostle in Lancaster, Pa.

      He was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Pentz, and mother, Clemis Pogue.
      SERVICES: A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, Pa. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Pa.
