      HRIVNAK JAMES ANTHONY
      Sept. 3, 1933-May 16, 2010. 76, of Madison, Alabama passed away Sunday. Mr. Hrivnak was born to Emil and Mary Bodnar Hrivnak of Clairton, PA. He was predeceased by son, Mark, and brothers, John, Gerald, and Emil. He attended Clariton High School and graduated from Brunnerdale Seminary in Canton, Ohio and the University of Pittsburgh. While residing in Green Tree, he was elected and served as a council member. For four years, James served in the United States Navy as an electronic technician 1st class and worked in the Harbor Defense Unit at the Panama Canal. He enjoyed supporting the Boy Scouts, was known as the "Electronic Cookie Monster" at the Amateur Radio Club in Huntsville, and was an active amateur radio operator for 64 years. (SURVIVORS OMITTED) A memorial service was held at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Madison, AL. LAUGHLIN SERVICE FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
