Charlotte K. "Chussy" Walter, 79, of 430 Woodstock Road, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at Chambersburg Hospital following a brief illness.
Born Oct. 14, 1920, in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Helen Fogelsonger Kent.
A member of First Lutheran Church, Chambersburg, she served on numerous committees there, sang in the choir and was a Girl Scout leader.
A 1938 graduate of Shippensburg High School, she attended Shippensburg University and Carlisle Business College.
Mrs. Walter had worked at Federal Farm Security Administration and Letterkenny Army Depot; and was a civilian employee at Fort Stevens, Ore., and a secretary of Central Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg.
She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Franklin County Toy Mission.
She was a member of Falling Spring Chapter 2840 American Association of Retired Persons.
SURVIVORS OMITTED.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Charles A. Kent Jr.
Burial will be Monday in Norland Cemetery.
