She graduated from Willamette High School in Eugene. On July 17, 1954, she married Donald C. Cockerill in Reno, Nev. She worked at the Berry Patch Inn for over seven years before retiring in 1997. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon and Donald Wright; and a sister, Ethelyn Shearer. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Graveside service: 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Tahoma National Cemetery.
