  Source: Mary Jane Vandale Wood: Mamie E. Toney was the second wife of Erastus Duncan Workman. She was born Feb 1874 in Boone County, WV. I have no death date but I know that Erastus was married a third time. Mamie lived in my great grandparents home in 1900 (Census and family stories). I don't know who her parents were. She was a school teacher. My grandfather (Harry Richard Toney) spoke of her as his adopted sister. Her daughter was Opal. Opal Workman married Howard P.
