How To Make The Most Of Your Visit To Our Site

This site is powered by TNG, The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding, which runs on PHP. This program has several advanced features not found in an HTML based genealogy website. All of our information is stored in a true database and the pages that you summon in your searches are actually created "on the fly." This means your searches are completed more quickly and you can glean more information in a shorter time. There are several ways to search our website. You can look for surnames or individual names and you can use advanced search criteria, such as Soundex. You may also look at lists of grandparents as well as search our collections of photos, headstones, and documents. When you select an individual to study, you will instantly see all the information we have associated with that person including data on his immediate family, and all photos, documents, headstones, etc. You may choose to look at his/her pedigree or descendancy chart, or you can calculate the relationship between that person and another person in the database. On the pedigree page, you can view the person's ancestry in various formats, including Ahnentafel. For more information on how to best take advantage of the features on this site, click on our FAQs page.

The website is designed to be as straightforward, easy to use, and intuitive as possible. The various links throughout the site are largely self-explanatory. These web pages are best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape Navigator 5.0 or higher, or Mozilla Firefox 1.0 with your monitor resolution set to 600 x 800 pixels or better.
