Thomas Jackson Haggard and Agnes Miller Haggard became the guardians of and raised Thomas Jackson Haggard's three half-siblings (Richard F. Caine, Lucy F. Caine and Robert Joseph Caine) after their mother Martha Jane Thacker and their father, Charles Caine died.
