Robbins, 84, of Lafayette, passed away at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital Sunday afternoon, January 16, 2022. Marilyn was born in Hillsdale, MI June 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Mote) Flora, and was a graduate of Chester Township High School, North Manchester, IN. She had resided in Lafayette since 1958. Marilyn first married Ronald E. Zimpelman in 1955, and they later divorced. She later married Marvin A. Robbins at Lafayette September 5, 1981, and he preceded her in death December 23, 2013. Marilyn was employed as office manager and assistant agent with Gene Metzger, State Farm Agency. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the Johnson’s Rags Dance Club. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St. from 3 until 6 PM Saturday January 22. A graveside service will be scheduled in the spring of 2022, with a Celebration of Life Service at that time.
