      The following obituary is being republished to provide corrected information. LOUISE MAXINE (CARROLL) (HEASTON) MCCROSKEY, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, 11:15 a.m., in the Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne. Mrs. McCroskey retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Fort Wayne State Development Center. She was a lifetime resident and shoe sales clerk at a number of shoe stores in Huntington and Fort Wayne area. Mrs. McCroskey was born March 11, 1914, in Huntington, the daughter of Wilbur R. and Minnie S. Kimmel Carroll. Her first marriage was to Dorald J. Heaston; they were married in Warren and he preceded her in death, May 22, 1966. Her second marriage (SURVIVOR OMITTED) Sept. 8, 1975, in Fort Wayne, and he survives. (SURVIVORS OMITTED). Walter and Ona Carroll, preceded her in death. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday in the Salamonie Church of the Brethren, 2662 West 600 South, Warren, with Mel Zumbrun officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial in the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association c/o the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.
