      GORDON H. HIATT, passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Golden Years Homestead. He was born July 12, 1926, the son of the late Russell and Della (Hadley) Hiatt, in Spring Valley, Ohio. Gordon was a World War II Army Veteran and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He spent most of his life working for Bordens Company, in Dayton, Ohio and Fort Wayne. He also worked for GCI Inc. and Phoenix Industries in Fort Wayne. He was a member of Glacier Ridge Lions Club, Maumee Lodge F&A Masons, VFW Post 82, and the American Legion. He was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinatti Reds, and was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church. "He will be greatly missed by his large loving family". (SURVIVORS AND POSSIBLE SURVIVORS OMITTED.) Private family services are being held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Fort Wayne Police Athletic League or the American Diabetes Association.
