The home was located on Quick's Creek about halfway between Deputy and Crothersville, Indiana. Kathryn Sidensticker purchased this photo at an auction in Missouri, then donated it to the Scott County Genealogical Society, Inc., Scott County, Indiana. (SCGSI Website is FITTING THE PIECES TOGETHER at http://www.angelfire.com/in4/scottcounty/Welcome.html ) Members of the Scott County Genealogical Society, Inc. checked to see which Scott County residents were married on the date listed on the back of the photo and found that only George “Addison” Phillips and Mary Jane Spear Phillips were wed on that particular day. The Phillips' eldest son James Wendell "Welly" Phillips was subsequently born on another date listed on the back of the photo. Naomi Keith Sexton, (Scott Co. Genealogical Society, Inc.,
