Jeanne Gillispie says she can not be positive that this is Robert Peal Gillispie (1857-1956), a brother of Mary Jane Gillipie Toney, whose album contained the tintype. However, Jeanne states that Robert Peal Gillispie played the violin, as did the man in the tintype.
