Concerning the individuals in the Descendancy of Johanes Henrich (John Henry) Aue/Aü and Christine Barbara Lutz:
Donna Forney Clark:
A VERY LONG STORY SHORTENED:

THE PLAYERS:
Johanes Henrich (John Henry) Aue/Aü (b. abt. 1745- d. 1821)
Christine Barbara Lutz (b. abt. 1754- d. 1818)]
Maria Margaret Au (b.1784), daughter of Johanes and Christine Lutz Aue/Aü
Samuel Baughman, husband of Maria Margaret Au
Margaret Au
Samuel Disert (b. abt. 1780)
Samuel Disert (b. 1810)

THE SETTING:
Cumberland Co., PA, and Franklin Co., PA, (abt. 1780-1810)

THE SET-UP:
1. Originally in our database I listed Maria Margaret Au (b.1784) as the wife of Samuel Disert (b. abt. 1780).

THE CRISIS:
2. Maria Margaret Au (b.1784) was married instead to Samuel Baughman.

THE EPHIPHANY:
3. Samuel Disert's wife was also named Margaret Au. Their son Samuel Disert (b. 1810) was born in Cumberland Co., PA, the same county where Johanes Henrich (John Henry) Aue/Aü and Christine Barbara Lutz lived, yet I have no proof that Maria Margaret Au Baughman and Margaret Au Disert are the same person.

THE REMEDY AND RESOLUTION:
4. The Descendancy of Johanes Henrich (John Henry) Aue/Aü and Christine Barbara Lutz is still in our database, but now it is free-floating, unattached from our line until I can find the connection with our Margaret Au.

2565 Donna Forney Clark: PART ONE contains initial info about Harriet Elizabeth "Hattie" Disert that we found from 1995-2005. PART TWO, 2005, by Andrew J. Weyer, Sr. contains information specific to the family of Frederick Frank Forney and Harriette Elizabeth "Hattie" Disert Forney.

Donna Forney Clark: HARRIETTE ELIZABETH "HATTIE" DISERT FORNEY'S AGE:
Harriet Elizabeth Disert was listed as one year old in the 1850 census which would make her 16 years older than her husband. Family stories said Harriet Disert Forney was many years older than her husband. All censuses relating to Harriette Elizabeth "Hattie" Disert Forney are problematic, since even though she starts out as several years older than her husband, census by census, she grows younger and younger until finally in 1930 (listed in PART TWO, below, she and her husband are the same age).

OBITUARY

Norma Jean Barrett
4 SEPTEMBER, 1929 – 13 MARCH, 2017

Jeannie was born on September 4, 1929 to Daniel B. and Mable Mary Gentry in Kansas City, MO.

She was next to the youngest of seven children: Irene, Eadie, Doris, Miles, Johnny, and Bobby. All have preceded her in death, as well as her great granddaughter, Katherine Hope Frater.

Jeannie and her loving husband, SURVIVOR'S NAME OMITTED, recently celebrated sixty-seven years of marriage.

SURVIVORS OMITTED.

Jeannie was very outgoing and adventurous. As a young teenager during the depression, she earned money for her family by performing as a trapeze artist with a local circus. During World War II, she performed with the USO as a dancer.

She and her husband lived in Kansas, Seattle, Texas and Europe.

She was wonderfully creative and industrious: cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and woodworking.

While living in Brussels, Belgium in the 1970’s, she enjoyed studying French cooking. She was a gifted gourmet cook and could taste a dish in a restaurant and replicate it at home, often improving on the recipe.

Her greatest love was fishing for lake trout and for salmon in the Puget Sound. With husband SURVIVOR'S NAME OMITTED at the helm, Jeannie baited hooks for everyone. At the end of the day she prepared the catch in gourmet style.

Jeannie is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of us until we join her in heaven.
