Elizabeth Lottinger Macdonell Gayle
JENNINGS - Jennings: A Mass of Christian burial for Elizabeth Lottinger Macdonell Gayle, 82, of Jennings, LA will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Father Charles McMillin officiating. Visitation will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary recited at 6:30 PM led by the Jennings Rosary Group. Following the rosary will be a eulogy by Morris A. Lottinger, Jr. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 9:00 AM until the time of her funeral Mass. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Jennings, LA.
Elizabeth was born in Houma, LA on September 2, 1932 to the late Morris A. Lottinger and the late Effie Hellier Lottinger. She was called to her Heavenly Father on February 5, 2015. Elizabeth had a Bachelor's degree from the University of Southwest Louisiana. She was a member of the Dame Pontifical Order of St. Gregory the Great, Lady Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, Serra Club and a Board Member of Companion of Honor. Elizabeth also belonged to several Social Clubs; Entre Nous & Revelers Luncheon Club, Jennings Wednesday Coffee Club and GALA of Gueydan. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. Elizabeth was a kind and loving person she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vera Lois Halsted "Granny" Clark, 85, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord and joined her husband, Thomas A. "TAC" Clark Sr. on Thursday, May 5, 2005. (SURVIVORS OMITTED.) She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother as well as a long time active resident of Hanover County. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., where family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment Signal Hill.
