Carol Lougene Wolf Britton:
Johann Georg arrived in the colonies in 1764 and we believe he was an indentured servant. We have found a Georg Strygne in the indentured servant list of one Mr Robert Ruecastle of Philadelphia. Georg does not appear in any other records until 1771 when he purchases 155 acres of ground in York Co PA. Newberry township. He is on the tax roll from then on and he dies in 1796 leaving 9 heirs to his estate.
