Mrs. Rebecca Disert died at the home of her son W. N. Disert (526?) East Queen street, on Friday, June 27 at 3:15 p.m. after a lingering illness. She is survived by the following children: Harry of Iowa City, Iowa; W. N. of Chambersburg; C. E. of Bristol, Colorado; Miss May and Miss Nan of Chester, Pa.; Mrs. John Kirk of New Franklin; Miss Nell now in the Philippine Islands.
The funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Kirk, of New Franklin, on Monday afternoon at 2:30. Interment at Grindstonehill cemetery. [Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA]

M. David Skeels, Anderson, died March 25, 2006, after a brief illness at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson. He was 79 years old.
He was born Dec. 2, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Curtis O. and Rose Hazel (Hale) Skeels. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in 1945. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was accepted into the V-12 Officers’ training program. His officer training took place at the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss. After an honorable discharge at the end of World War II, he attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., where he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity, graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 1949.
He then moved to Lake Worth, Fla., where he was a co-founder of a health services concern in West Palm Beach, Fla., from 1950 to 1955. In 1955, he entered the Sears, Roebuck & Co. management training program in Chicago, Ill., and held various management and sales positions throughout the Midwest.
(INFORMATION OMITTED) In 1964, the Skeels family moved to Anderson, where he was employed by Sears until his retirement in 1985.
He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He was baptized in the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls in 1926, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anderson, at the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Hazel Skeels; and siblings, Margery Alice Skeels Smith and Lt. Frederick David Hale Skeels.
(SURVIVORS OMITTED)
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 1215 Jackson St., Anderson, IN 46016 (765) 643-6977, with one additional visiting hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dr. Derek C. Weber and the Rev. Donna K. Goings will be officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, 229 S. Rangeline Road, Anderson, IN 46012 (765) 643-7474.

Robert Henry Fenske
Robert Henry Fenske, 84, of Litchfield Park died Oct. 1, 2011, at his home.
Mr. Fenske was born June 21, 1927, in Visalia, Calif. He moved to Arizona in December 2010.
He worked in construction and was a lineman with Pacific Gas & Electric in California for more than 25 years.
He served as an Army medic during World War II.

A service will be held at a later date in California.
Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale made the arrangements.
