I don't know if John Hudson and David Hudson are one and the same person, so for now, I'm leaving them separate and combining most of the info from the next two references to refer to DAVID HUDSON.
Source:
Brenda Elkins Parker:
David Hudson was married to Annie/Hannah Hughes. His birthdate is about 1884; he died in 1955 in Pomeroy, Meigs Co., Ohio. American Jane Toney Hudson lived with her son and daughter-in-law, David and Annie Hughes Hudson, until American Jane Toney Hudson's death. Death Certificate is signed by Anna Hudson. Also, in the 1900 Census record, it states that Hezekiah and America had 8 children with only 4 living.

The following exerpt appears at the USGENWEB Project Jefferson County, OH which is administered by Danice Ryan. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ohjeffer/doylebioindex/ajault.html
This exerpt comes from 20th Century History of Steubenville and Jefferson County, Ohio by Joseph Beatty Doyle.
ANDREW J. AULT
ANDREW J. AULT, a representative business man of Jefferson County, Ohio, proprietor of a well stocked general store at Costonia, was born in Island Creek Township, Jefferson County, Ohio, December 16, 1835, and is a son of George and Margaret S. (Cisler) Ault.
George Ault, father of Andrew J., was a lifelong resident of Island Creek Township and was a son of Andrew Ault, who was one of the original pioneer settlers of this township. Of the family of children born to George Ault and wife, there are four survivors: John C. and Andrew J., of Island Creek Township; George W., of Toronto and Josiah C. of Steubenville.
When Andrew J. Ault was fourteen years of age he had an experience not often enjoyed by youths so young. His father decided to visit California by way of the isthmus route and took his young son with him, and after a voyage of thirty-one days the weary travelers landed at San Francisco. They both engaged in gold mining but after a while the father returned to Island Creek Township and never afterward left home. Andrew J. Ault spent his early manhood in the California mines and tested both placer and hydraulic methods. Afterward he went into the cattle business in Mono County. While in California he was first married, his wife being Miss Mary Weaver and she and their four children all deceased.
In 1871 Mr. Ault returned to the East and in the latter part of that year established a mercantile business at what was then a railroad crossing bearing the name of Brown's Station and he was appointed ticket agent and express agent here and had a large amount of business to attend to even at that early day. Later the station became Jeddo post-office and he was made postmaster and continued in all these offices for a number of years and continued postmaster after the growing town was renamed Costonia, and at the present time of writing, 1910, his wife holds this government office. Mr. Ault has acceptably filed numerous offices of responsibility in township and county. For two years he was a member of the board of infirmary directors of Jefferson County and for a number of years served as a director of the Special School District No. 2 and during a part of this time was clerk of the board. He has always been identified with the Republican party.
Mr. Ault married for his second wife, Miss Eva Henry, a daughter of the late Joshua Henry, an old time resident of Steubenville, and they have two children, a son and a daughter: Leroy H., who is general manager for the Jefferson Plantation Company, in Mexico; and Margaret A., who lives at home. Mr. Ault is a leading member of Bray's Methodist Episcopal Church in Island Creek Township, in which he is serving as a class leader, trustee and treasurer and formerly was Sunday school superintendent. | Ault, Andrew Jackson (I7835)

I haven't resolved the name of the youngest son of Christopher Columbus Clark Chasteen & Martha Richey Chasteen. For now I'm using William Columbus Chasteen, 1896-1932. Possible names of their youngest son are William Columbus Chasteen or Columbus Clark Chasteen or William C. Chasteen. More than likely these are the same person. I'd appreciate any help on this name.

In correspondence, Margaret Jane Shrader signed her name as Margret Jane. She loved West Virginia and her family very much. Her beloved pets were Brantley, her dog, and Charlie, her cat.
When she was a little girl during the winter, she would make snow angels, snowmen, and igloos, and sled on the mountain where her grandmama lived. Her dear grandmama made snowcream ice cream which Margret loved.

John T. Clark is buried in Saint John/ Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, IN, in a family grave site that may include his brother, James C. Clark. Kent Peterson traveled to the cemetery, in September 2019, and photographed a multiple interment gravesite marked J. C. Clark. Prior to Kent's visit and before he consulted with Michael P. Welsh, CCCE, COO Gary Diocesan Cemeteries, Hammond, IN, we thought John T. Clark, was buried in Michigan City, LaPorte, IN. However, Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City lists no John T. Clark or J. T. Clark as having been buried there. Olga, an associate of Michael P. Welsh, provided us with John Thomas' death certificate. Sometime before Saint John's and Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemeteries merged in 1983, St. Joseph's was called Greenwood Cemetery.

Message written on the back of the photo postcard of Emma "Louisa" Cockerill that appears in the PHOTO SECTION of http://forneyclarkgenealogy.com is as follows:
Dear Cousin Ethel,
I thought I'd write you a few lines to let you know that we are all well and hope you are the same. We received the postcards and I want to thank you for them. I thought I would send you one of my pictures. Archie (Emma "Louisa" Cockerill's brother) took this for me out in our yard by the lillies (sic). Well, what are you doing and how do you like to be called auntie? Does if make you feel old? Well, I will close for this time hoping you will write soon. Give my love to all. From your cousin, Louisa

In reference to D.C. Rhodes who married Maggie Disert:
In 1870, he (D.C. Rhodes) married Maggie, daughter of Samuel Disert, Sr., who was born in Cumberland County, Penn., September 16, 1812, a son (here we're still in reference to Sam Disert, born in 1812) of Samuel Disert and Margaret (Au) Disert, who were also natives of Pennsylvania and of German and Irish origin.

D. C. RHODES, blacksmith, Stoufferstown, P. O. Chambersburg, was
born in Franklin County, January 21, 1847, a son of Christian and Martha
(Metz) Rhodes, natives of Pennsylvania, and of English and German origin,
respectively. In early life Christian Rhodes was a miller, later a farmer; his
family consisted of five sons and four daughters, of whom D. C. is the sixth
child. Our subject grew to manhood in his native county, and was educated
in the district school. At the age of seventeen he commenced to learn the
blacksmith's trade, which he followed one year. In 1866 he enlisted in the
United States Regular Army, and served three years, two and a half of which
he was orderly sergeant of the company which served among the Indians in
the West. At the close of his term of service he returned to Chambersburg,
completed his apprenticeship, and has since worked at his trade in Stouffers-
town. He does all the work on the wagons made here, also on farming imple-
ments manufactured in the town, and usually employs two blacksmiths. In
1870 he married Maggie, daughter of Samuel Disert, Sr., who was born in
Cumberland County, Penn., September 16, 1812, a son of Samuel and Margaret
(Au) Disert, who were also natives of Pennsylvania and of German and Irish
origin. Mr. Disert is a prominent farmer in this township. Mr . and Mrs.
Rhodes have two children: D. Frank and H. Edgar. Mr. Rhodes is a mem.
ber of the I. O. O. F. . and an active and energetic Republican.

It was from the above reference that I concluded that Samuel Disert born in 1812 had parents Samuel Disert and Margaret Au.

Donna Forney Clark:
I'm still working on Samuel Disert's birthdate. His headstone at Stouffer Cem., in Chamberburg, PA reads 1810. One source states his birth date as September 16, 1812. The censuses below are not conclusive enough to state the year.
Source:
US Census 1850/ 1860/ 1870/ 1880
Samuel Disert was a prominent farmer in Guilford Township, Franklin Co., PA. Also listed in the 1860 Census as a master carpenter. Also listed in the 1850 census of Greene Township, Franklin Co., PA.
In the 1860 census, Disert is misspelled or possibly just mistranscribed as Disest. In the 1870 census Disert is spelled Dysert. Samuel Disert appears in the 1880 census as living in Guilford, Franklin Co., PA.

McCroskey Family History, A Partial History of the McCroskeys in America, by Warren N. McCroskey, published in Ft. Wayne, IN, Dec. 1993, revised Feb. 2003, page 6.
Family #6.
James McCroskey(1)#6, son of John #1, b. ca 1712 North Ireland. Came to America with
his parents about 1735. Married to Elizabeth (last name –perhaps Hays). Died about 1781 or 1782.
After James' death, Elizabeth married Billingsby Gibson, from Ireland, who was in the Rev. War.
The following are believed to be the children of James and Elizabeth:
· James(2)#34, believed to have been born about 1766, and when grown lived in Washington Co.,
Va.; m.(1) Ann Duff (2) Rebecca Avent.
· John(2)#14, who is believed to have lived first in Washington Co., Va.; m. Margaret Duff;
moved to South Carolina, then Georgia.
· Francis(2)#986, who lived first in Washington Co., Va., and later in Mecklenburg Co., N.C.,
and still later in Morgan Co., AL.
There were probably other children in this family who have yet to be identified. One may
have been Rachel.

· John(2)#14, who is believed to have lived first in Washington Co., Va.; m. Margaret Duff;
moved to South Carolina, then Georgia.
· Francis(2)#986, who lived first in Washington Co., Va., and later in Mecklenburg Co., N.C.,
and still later in Morgan Co., AL.
There were probably other children in this family who have yet to be identified. One may
have been Rachel.

History of Franklin County, Pennsylvania, p. 800. Chicago, IL: Warner, Beers & Co.,1887, pgs., 800-801

He was recorded as being 85 years old in the 1860 Logan census. Wife Mary Champ, died before 1860. Samuel II, Theopolis, son James - about all old ones, maybe 20 buried at BulI Creek at Mikes Branch. Only one stone, that of James, marked. Can't find others, but know alI in two rows, including two Negro slaves buried beside James at his request - now called Holstein cemetery. Note: From MBG Genealogy: Theophilus Galasby, son of Samuel, was born in 1776. He died in Logan County after 1860 at the home of his niece, Nancy Gillispie Adkins (Aaron Adkins). As you go up the cemetery road, they lie just above the road - next to the road.
