      Denise Forney:
Abraham Lehman Forney died 12 March 1915 at the age of 36 years and 8 months. His headstone is in the Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, Lee Co., IL.

He was mentioned in the "Public Opinion" newspaper on March 12, 1915 in Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA. The article states:

      Son Died At Dixon, Ill
Father Did Not Reach Bedside In Time to See Him Alive

John M. Forney, 51 West German Street, late Thursday evening reached a telegram stating that his son A. Lehman Forney had died at Dixon, Ill. He had been ill only a short time and died from pneumonia.
Mr. Forney was born and reared in Franklin County, going west seventeen years ago. He was in the employ of a contractor there and has not visited Franklin County since he left in 1897. He was aged 36 years and 8 months, and in addition to his father, is survived by two brothers, Fred F. and Ira Forney of Chambersburg and two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Schafnit and Mrs. Bishop.
The brother Ira Forney left for Dixon on Thursday but did not reach his brother's bedside before his death.
This is the second son comrade John M. Forney has lost by death since last fall, Elmer Forney having died at Cordova, Ill. … October last.

In the Dixon newspaper, it states on March 12 1915:

      Albert [Abraham] Forney Died Thursday
Passed away at Dixon Hospital After Ten Days Illness

Albert [Abraham] L. Forney passed away on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock, at the hospital, of pneumonia after a ten days' illness.
Mr. Forney was born at Chambersburg, Pa. and was aged about 40 years. Shortly after reaching his majority, he came west to Illinois and located in Dixon accepting a position as teamster for the late James Gaffney. Of late years he worked in various livery barns, being a good man in the handling of horses. Last summer he worked for road contractors Duffy & Hubbard. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Catherine Bishop, and a brother, John Forney, residing at Chambersburg, PA. A brother died last year at Davenport, Iowa.

And the following day in the same Dixon newspaper on March 13, 1915:

      Forney funeral Sunday P.M.

The funeral of Albert [Abraham] Forney, who passed away at the hospital on Thursday night, will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the undertaking rooms of Jones & Slain, Rev. Altman officiating. A brother I. J. Forney arrived here last evening from Chambersburg, PA. to attend the funeral.
