      LeAnn Kelley:
From Rick and LeAnn Kelley's research: We believe Thornton Kelly is the son of Jacob's first wife, Margaret Gore. We believe William Kelly was a son of Jacob's second wife, Jemima. The marriage record of Jacob Kelly and Margaret Gore was made in Culpeper Co. VA in 1790 [see next reference]. Jacob moved to the Loop/Loup Creek area of Fayette Co. by 1806.

      LeAnn Kelley:
I transcribed Jacob Kelly's will from the original (Donna Forney Clark: a version appears below this reference), and I have a couple of differences. I read the daughter’s name as Pressilla rather than Tressilla, and one of the witnesses, M.P. Wyatt was omitted in your copy. Matthew P. Wyatt was the brother of Margaret Wyatt/ Wiatt who married Thornton Kelly.
