    *** Note: Amanda Douglass’ father came across a copy of this photograph when Clyde Pinson was running for congress in WV. Pinson told Amanda’s father that the photographer had gotten word out through that locale that if the Hatfields would "come down" he wanted to photograph the whole clan. That happened and Pinson, who was in the coal industry and in politics and had many connections, was given a copy of that photograph, probably by a Hatfield descendant.
