Yost Sloan: Birth: 1850 Death: Feb. 23, 1881 in East Liverpool, Columbiana Co., OH, USA Hannah A .Yost, daughter of Elias and Kiziah Yost. Born in Short Creek Township, Harrison Co., OH Married William Sloan (son of Samuel and Mary J. [Henderson] Sloan of Harrisville, OH) on 03 Jan 1867 in Harrison Co., OH Mother of 7 children, 6 of whom perished with her in a tragic fire in East Liverpool OH. William and a daughter Kate escaped the fire. William brought the family remains back to Harrison Co. to be buried in Olive Branch Cemetery. Also killed in the fire was Wilmer Skeeles who married William's sister Amanda H. Sloan. Children of William Sloan and Hannah A.
