Information provided by Elvina Fernandez, of Tulare, and posted by LeAnna Carson-Hansen, grand niece of Mr. Pinneo.
Items in parenthesis added by LeAnna for clarification.
Russell Pinneo, 80, Retired Salesman.
Services were held in Westminster, (ADAMS county) Colo, for former Tularean Russell W. Pinneo, 80, Westminster, Colo., who died November 12 (1992) in a Westminster Hospital.
Mr. Pinneo was born in Tulare (California). He lived in Tulare and Corcoran and married the former Gertrude Wieth in Corcoran 55 years ago. He joined the Navy in 1942 and served in the Pacific and the Philipines until 1946. He returned to Tulare and became a peace officer and later worked for C. Jim Quinn as a farm equipment salesman. He was a member of the DeMolay, the Masonic Lodge and the First Congregational Church. He moved to Salinas many years ago and worked as a farm equipment salesman until retiring.
(DFC: SURVIVORS OMITTED.)
Mr. Pinneo was the son of Carlos Ernest Pinneo and Lizzie Bell Whitney.
Burial was in a Westminster cemetery. (crfordy: Department of Veterans affairs says that Russell Pinneo is buried in Fort Logan Cemetery in Denver County. Westminster appears to be in Adams County)
