      Dorothy Kinder, obituary:

      FISHER – Dorothy Faye Kinder, 73, of Fisher passed away on the evening of Thursday (Feb. 3, 2011) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
      She was born March 13, 1937, in Appleton City, Mo., a daughter of Virgil and Vera (Jones) Mistler.

      She was preceded in death by a son, Charles, a brother and her parents.

      Dorothy attended public schools in Warrensburg, Mo., and Business College in Kansas, Mo. She worked for Missouri Public Service until she became a homemaker.
      In later years, she worked at Champaign National Bank, Dewey State Bank, Webergs, the Dewey Fisher Grain Elevator and she owned and operated the Fisher Flower Shop.
      She taught tole painting and was a talented seamstress. She spent time camping and traveling with her husband, gardening and crocheting. Her most recent times were spent bird watching.

      A funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul. The Rev. Steve Sabin will officiate. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery, Malden, Mo. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Tuesday.

      Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
