James H. Wood
1935 - 2018
Wood, James H. age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 18, 1935 to the late Henry Winfield and Mary Eliza Wood (nee Carter).
He was preceded in death by his sons, Tony Wood, James Wood, and David Lance; siblings, Juanita VanDeilen, Ray Wood, Donald Wood, and Doris Caskey. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Mary Jane Wood (nee Vandale), (SURVIVORS OMITTED), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of friends who have become family.
Jim retired after working 42 years at Celotex Incorporation. He enjoyed the Reds, Bengals, and family get togethers. Jim was a family man and made sure that his loved ones were taken care of.
Memorial Service will be 1:30 pm Sunday, October 21, 2018 with a visitation from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
