Obituary for Deryl Duane McCart
Deryl McCart, 87, of Corydon passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Corydon Specialty Care.
Deryl was born to Elmer & Donna (Carlson) McCart on September 16, 1929 in Humeston. He received his education from Corydon High School in 1947. On June 11, 1960, Deryl was united in marriage to Vivian Washburn in California. Deryl was a veteran of the United States Army and a past commander of the Russell E. Marshall American Legion Post #68. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for many years as a rural mail carrier. In his spare time, Deryl enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on his cars and working on the farm where he grew up.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Corydon Cemetery with full military rites performed by Russell E. Marshall American Legion Post #68. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-4 p.m. at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Memorials may be given to Russell E. Marshall American Legion Post #68 and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
