She was born Sept. 13, 1916, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Wesley and Hattie Ritchey Porter. She and William H. Lemons were married Jan. 14, 1936, at Gipsy. He died Aug. 16, 2002. Lemons was a faithful member of Berrong General Baptist Church in Gipsy. A wonderful homemaker and great cook, she also enjoyed gardening and quilting. Most of all she enjoyed caring for her family. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel at Advance. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner officiating. Interment will be at Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berrong Church Building Fund.
