Fain (aka Bob & Fuzz), 69, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2021, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. He was born July 5, 1951, in Charleston, WV, the son of Lemuel Sanford Fain Sr. and Mary Ethel Fain. Bob's faith in God was first and foremost in his life and this was visible to everyone that knew him. He loved his family without limits or condition and has left a legacy of immeasurable love behind within us all. Although our hearts are broken to lose him we know he is with the Lord and we will be reunited with him someday. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Linda M. Fain, a sister, Ruth Horne, and brothers Dave and Lemuel Sanford Fain Jr. SURVIVORS OMITTED. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 6 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service following with Pastor Robert Blevins officiating. A committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Ashley Family Cemetery in Whitetop, VA. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM. In accordance with COVID-19 regulations, all those attending services are asked to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
