SMITH, Wm. Dunham LCAP 1/4/1999
JENNINGS -- Funeral services for Wm. Dunham "Doc" Smith Sr., 86,
will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5 from Our Lady Help of Christians
Catholic Church.
The Rev. Vincent A. Sedita will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation is 5-10 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6 p.m. and a Scriptural
Wake Service at 6:30 p.m.; and from 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Smith died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, in the Jennings
hospital.
A native of Roanoke, he was a resident of Jennings most of his life. He
was a graduate of Jennings High School in 1931. He was a retired sales
representative for Triangle Shell, Inc. He was a former member of
Jennings Golf Club. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians
Catholic Church where he was a usher.
[SURVIVORS OMITTED.] Memorials may be made to the charity of choice or
masses, the family said.
