Hoover, 74, of rural Bellefonte, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at Mt. Laurel Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center at Clearfield. She was born August 26, 1933, at Huntingdon, PA, a daughter of the late Ralph P. Hoover and LaRue Pogue Hoover [SURVIVORS OMITTED] In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Peg Butler and a brother Ralph Hoover. Teddy was a 1951 graduate of State College High School, and was employed as a secretary at Penn State University, retiring after 25 years of service. Teddy was a longtime member of Park Forest United Methodist Church in State College. A person of many interests, she especially enjoyed painting, sewing, puzzles, needlework cross stitch crafts, traveling, playing cards and Bridge, and most importantly, spending time with her family. There will be no public visitation and at her request memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
