It originally appeared in Skeels Family History 1720-1980 (which includes the text of a hard back bound book compiled and printed by George Roof in 1903 in Albion, IN). Important contributors to Section II of the above text were Hazel Brown McCollough & Mrs. J. Harry Kidwell & Mrs. Edmund Schafer & Col. Mortimer Bennet. Kenton M. Kidd organized and compiled the combined three book edition of Skeels Family History 1720-1980. Part of the earlier books were set in type at South Side Press by Wayne Favinger, aged 15 yrs.

      Skeels Frank A, 68, a resident of Noble Twp, died at his home last Friday of complications. Funeral was at Burr Oak Christian Church last Sunday. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. He is survived by the widow, Ocie; a son, Woodward at home; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lester Franks of Columbus, O., and Mrs. Sarah Jane Burnsworth of Albion; a grandchild; 2 brothers, Charles of Albion and William of Wolf Lake; and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Holcomb of Albion. + 6-?-1941

      Skeels Oca A, 81, (b. 5-5-1878) a lifelong resident of this community, died July 6, 1959 in Backle Nursing Home at Columbia City. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Lesta Frank of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Sarah Jane Burnworth of Columbia City; one son, Woodward of Westville; 2 granddaughters and 2 great-granddaughters. She was a charter member of Burr Oak Baptist Church. Funeral was Wednesday in Burr Oak Baptist Church. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. + 7-?-1959.
