HETHINGTON Mary - Evelyn Weatherford Wilson Hethington, passed away July 29, 2005. Born September 18, 1916, in Timmonsville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late George Marion Weatherford and Mary Ola Stokes Weatherford. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Edward L. Hethington, and brothers Lefoy & Marion Weatherford. Surviving her are stepsons; Edward L. Hethington Jr., and Lou C. Hethington, four grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, cousin Mary Dean Powers of Timmonsville, sisterinlaw Mildred Acklin Hethington, and a number of nieces and nephews. She served as a NCO in the WAC during WWII, and was a lifelong member of Jacksonville Garden Club, a member of ALPHA IOTA sorority, and a member of Swain Methodist Church. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 1, 2005 at Greenlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL at 10:00 AM.
