Obituary:
SHIVERTAKER Ruby F. Shivertaker, age 89, a resident of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011, peacefully in Lexington, Kentucky. She was surrounded by her family members. She was a life-long homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She treasured her family and friends and she was a treasure to them. She was a long time member of Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, Cross Lanes, West Virginia and currently a member of Orange Park United Methodist Church, Orange Park, Florida. Her husband, Carl, predeceased her in 2005. She is survived by her children: [SURVIVORS OMITTED]. She was blessed also with six great grandchildren [SURVIVORS OMITTED]. Services will be held at the Cross Lanes United Methodist Church, Cross Lanes, West Virginia, on Friday, January 21, at 2:00 pm. She will be buried next to her husband at the Cunningham Cemetery, St Albans, West Virginia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be given in her name to the building funds of the Cross Lanes United Methodist Church or the Orange Park United Methodist Church.
