  Source: Shirley Fredriksen: Jesse Cook Daughetee was of Irish descent and came from Kentucky to Texas where he married Lilly Luthera Wells. They had four children, Lela Mildred Daughetee Fredriksen, Lawrence Andrew Daughetee, Jesse Earl Daughetee, and Viola Jean Daughetee Ayers. They bought farmland near Pleasant View, Colorado in early 30's, then sold and bought more farmland near Hesperus, Colorado.
