At Hannah’s request, Lucy was sent to live with Hannah's sister Mary and Mary's huband John Schell in Ellerton, Montgomery Co., OH. Lucy Victoria Schivadecker grew up there. Lucy Victoria Schivadecker's brothers (per Ancestry info census) were Orion born April 1880, John Calvin born April 1882, and Harley L born June 1887. The boys stayed with their father Henry. In the 1900 census, the boys and their father were living with Michael (Mickey) Shiverdecker age 80 and his daughter Elizabeth Shiverdecker (Jane Elizabeth born August 1847). She was born April 5, 1885, in Pyrmont, Ohio, the daughter of Henry and Hannah (MILLER) SCHIVADECKER. In 1914 she was graduated as a registered nurse from Passavant Hospital, in Chicago. On Jan. 29, 1917, she was married to Dr. Harold Elon OLNEY, in Centreville and Kalamazoo, 22 years in Detroit, and the last 20 years near Leonidas. She was of the Lutheran faith. [INFO OMITTED] Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Eickhoff Funeral Home, in Mendon, with the Rev. John Recher, of Three Rivers, officiating. Burial will take place in the Mendon Cemetery.
