Lewis, 82, of Ona, WV, went home to be with the Lord, on June 24, 2001, Widow of the late Hal Lewis. She was born on June 16, 1919 in Mason County, WV, and the daughter of the late Oscar and Aretta Morris Chapman. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Heck Funeral Home, with Rev. Brent Gibson officiating. Burial in Blue Sulphur Cemetery, Ona. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Opal Ryder, and four brothers, Locie, Linville, Howard, and Clifford Chapman. She was a homemaker and member of Mud River Baptist Church, Milton (SURVIVORS OMITTED).
