Services to celebrate the life and home going of Steve Franklin Hager, 67, of Lubbock will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Redbud Baptist Church with the Rev. Syl Moore and the Rev. Tom Reynolds officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date in Charleston, W. Va. Steve Franklin Hager was born Jan. 18, 1943, in Orgas, W. Va., to the late Henry Frank and Pearl (Cooper) Hager. He married the love of his life, SURVIVOR AND INFO OMITTED. Steve retired from the United States Air Force after 25 years of service, after which he was employed at Texas Tech for 20 years. He was a member of Redbud Baptist Church. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, "Suzy" Lundabee. SURVIVORS OMITTED. The family would like to express a special thanks to Shannon Overland, RN, Advanced Home Health Care and Hospice, and Dr. Al-alwani. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Redbud Baptist Church. Pallbearers OMITTED.
