Pearl Evelyn Sparks
Pearl Evelyn Sparks, 71, Farmington, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2004. Mrs. Sparks was born June 2, 1932, the daughter of David A. Turntine and wife Wynona Turntine, nee Shiverdeck. After completing high school, she continued her education as a nurse and was later employed at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis. On Aug. 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Louis Emmit Sparks. Mrs. Sparks was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Sparks is survived by her husband, Louis E. "Sparky" Sparks; [OTHER SURVIVORS OMITTED.] Funeral services were held Friday, May 21, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment was in Sparks Cemetery, Lonedell. Memorials to Cure Autism Now or the American Diabetes Association are preferred. The Sparks family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
