Elsie Catherine (Pugh) Carbaugh's obituary was published in Public Opinion Newspaper of Chambersburg, PA, from March 22 to March 23, 2011:
Elsie Catherine (Pugh) Carbaugh, 94, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2011. She resided at the Tower at Falling Spring for the last twenty-one years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. [SURVIVORS OMITTED] She was born in Letterkenny Twp., PA on September 27, 1916. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman & Ora Pugh and by a sister.
She retired from the Stanley Company in 1981 after working there for thirty-five years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, AARP, Golden Age, the Go Club, and was an avid traveler when she was younger.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in her name to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 4 p.m. [SOME INFORMATION OMITTED.]
