She retired from the Stanley Company in 1981 after working there for thirty-five years. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, AARP, Golden Age, the Go Club, and was an avid traveler when she was younger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made in her name to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg.
