AULT, HOWARD/ UNIDENTIFIED/ Individual photo
AULT, HOWARD/ UNIDENTIFIED/ Individual photo
AULT/ UNIDENTIFIED/ Individual photo and info about this picture of Howard Ault came from Catherine Stirling. This photo and others referred to in the following info also appear at Catherine C. Galvin’s site Galvin, Hotes, Hyde, Dusenbury at http://www.genealogy.com/users/g/a/l/Catherine-C-Galvin/index.html This picture was taken by the G. W. Weiser Studio when it was at the corner of Market Street in Steubenville, OH. It came from an album that belonged to Alicia Julia Hyde who claimed on Civil War pension paperwork that she was born October 17, 1844 in Steubenville, OH. She married John Henry Galvin in April of 1866. 99% of the pictures in the album were taken in Steubenville, OH. Other names include "Letitia," "Mattie Taylor," and "Wesley Blake." Alicia Julia Hyde’s parents may have been born in Vermont. Alicia's mother's name may have been Laura Campbell. We would appreciate any help identifying this individual. * Bob Ault suggests that this child may be Howard J. Ault who died at the age of seven. He states that the family of Josiah Cunningham Ault/ Mary Jewett "...was born, raised and died in Island Creek Township, Jefferson Co., OH."
